Blue Badge Holders still miss out on benefits

Leicestershire County Council, Age Concern and other agencies in the LAA partnership are still concerned that people who are in possession of a blue disabled badge for their vehicle are still not claiming extra money they may be entitled to. Under most circumstances people over 65 probably should be claiming Attendance Allowance which is worth an extra £44.85 or £67 per week. No-one is interested in your income or your savings it is not means tested and will not affect any other benefit. More »

During the month of October those people who have a blue badge and are over 65 and not claiming Attendance Allowance are invited to ring FREEPHONE 0800-5677-047 between the hours of 1.30pm to 4pm Monday to Friday to speak to a trained advisor. All paperwork will be completed for you.

PLEASE ONLY RING BETWEEN THESE TIMES. « Less
