Acresford Parish Plan

The Parish Council for Oakthorpe Donisthorpe and Acresford have undertaken to support a Parish Plan.

The Parish Plan process consists primarily of a “grass roots” level questionnaire produced in each village within the Parish by residents of the village. The results of the questionnaire are analysed and used as supporting evidence for the action plan we develop. The service providers then receive our action plan and are duty bound to respond to each action, detailing timescales etc for the actions to be completed. If any of the actions are impossible they have to give reasons why they cannot happen.

The Parish Plan Questionnaire

The Acresford parish plan group are about to distribute a paper copy of the questionnaire to each household in the community asking about their views and ideas on how the parish can be improved.

Please help us by filling in this questionnaire. To help us group keep its costs down it would be really helpful if you input your answers on-line. The link to the on-line Acresford parish plan questionnaire can be seen below. You will need an unique access key to enter the questionnaire which can be found on the paper copy delivered through your door.

What Happens Next?

Following the analysis of the completed questionnaires a summary report will be produced and made available to the whole village. A open village meeting will be held to discuss these initial findings and an action plan will then be produced to take the agreed priorities forward.

The parish plan process doesn't end with the production of the final report. The group will continue further meetings and activities to implement the action plan.
