Guided historical walk around Pilton and The Luffenhams in Rutland
Circular Walk starting at North Luffenham Church. Will explore many aspects of the local history of the area of rural Rutland. In particular it will include village architecture, three churches and chrchyards, the site of a demolished Hall, a deserted medievl vilage, the sites of ironstone and clay quarries, deserted railway lines, a windmill and a water mill -and much more.
Along quiet roads and paths with some stiles some may be muddy.
Children and well behaved dogs welcome.
Stout shoes or walking boots recommended
Departure time 2.00pm
Finish around 5.30pm

Hi folks, i'm holding a Table Top Sale on Sunday 7th September between 10am and 4pm to raise much needed funds for the British Heart Foundation.
This will be held at 99 Ashby Road, Moira, nr Swadlincote.
Please come along and help to support this worthwhile charity. Heart and circulatory disease still kills more people than any other serious illness, so any support you can give me will help the BHF to fund more life - saving research.
