Well, the new Youth Theatre pulled off two excellent productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Friday night, March 19th had a decent size audience and they were a good quality audience, too. That is, they laughed at the jokes and followed the story. Saturday night's audience looked as though it might run short of chairs, though they were a bit more serious.
So chuffed was the young cast (34 youngsters) that they have already started on the next production. This will be the children's musical, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at HPHS starting at 6.30 and finishing around at 7.50pm.
