June 2010

Dear Resident,

Summer seems to have arrived this month and hopefully you are enjoying the good weather.

Crime has reduced slightly this month, which is excellent news. We did however have a couple of incidents which appear to be linked. Damage was caused to a property on Babington Road and mobile phones were taken from a group of youths on King George V Park. One person has been arrested and enquiries are still ongoing. Many thanks to everyone who has assisted in this enquiry.

Whilst the weather is good please still be vigilant and protect your property.

If you do see anything suspicious please take vehicle details and phone the police using 0116 222 222 2 giving as much information as possible.

Nigel is moving to another beat and PCSO 6507 Brian Geeson is joining the team. Brian is keen to patrol on foot, so please say hello when you see him.

If anyone has any information regarding these crimes or recalls seeing persons acting suspiciously please contact either myself, Brian or Crimestoppers with your information.

We are working hard to reduce crime in the village please assist us with any information.

Lynne Gilbertson (PC 4206) Brian Geeson (PCSO 6507)
