THE CHIMPANZEE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Stella Marsden is the amazing woman who founded the chimpanzee rehabilitation project and it has been very successful. She has single handedly nurtured 60+ Chimpanzees that now live in freedom on 3 islands on the River Gambia National Park.

This is not an opportunity that everyone gets, as the National Park is a protected area and you need Goverment Permission to go there. But if you can 'rough it', are willing to cover your own costs, and would love to see the Chimps 'real close' then BGL can arrange it.

This opportunity is available to people from Barrow due to their links with BGL. and the fact that we sponsor the local school.

I took 2 young teenagers (14 & 15 Yrs old) out there a year ago, and believe me. It is an experience of a lifetime!
