Dance and Performing Arts For All

Dance and Drama training for all young people from the age of 3years with no upper limit to the perfomance levels that can be achieved.
Dance includes :-
Ballet - Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)

Tap, Modern, Jazz - Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD)
Drama - Dance & Performing Arts Syllabus

Also available for young people is the opportunity to become involved in the exciting 'theatrical world' of Festival and Competitive Dance and Drama.
This opens many more aspects of performance arts

On the Classical side with Ballet is National Dance, Character Dance and Greek Dance (A very specialised 'free-style' movement)

On the Stage Side with Tap, & Modern is Song and Dance, Lyrical/Contemporary and Acrobatic Dance (Similar to Gymnastic floor work)

For drama students - many of whom also dance there are Solo, Duologue, and Group plays including
Verse and Prose reading...
Show, Pantomime, Cabaret etc.

Levels of development in the many skills can provide a wonderful opportunity where one can meet with dancers and dramatists and their families from many parts of the U.K.
Here skills are demonstrated and compared and of course judged.... A tournament indeed
