The little fox

Once upon a time on the heart of the country side lived a little fox. But he was very sad and lonely living all alone in the dark wood. So one day he decide to try and find a new home, and meet some little animals who would be his friend and hopefully love him.

So he trotted off and came to a village, and saw a lovely garden, in it stood a cottage so he walked through a wooden gate and came across a shed at the end of the garden. He peeped in and saw it was empty except for a few empty boxes. This will make me a very nice den, but I must find someone to share it with me.

So then he went in searching around the bushes and flowers hoping to find someone to keep him company. First he met a cat laying in the sun, hello he said would you like to be my friend? Oh yes said the cat by the way my name is Millie, come with me and I will take you to meet Ben the dog and Terry the tortoise who live here, they will be happy to meet you. We were all welcomed to live here because we had no home.

We said the fox shall we all live together in the shed it will be very cozy in winter. So the dog, cat, tortoise and the fox that had been so lonely but not any more all live happily together.

At night the kind of people who lived in the cottage always put sone food and milk by the shed door, because they also very happy to have the animals in their shed and watch over them, by the way the little fox was called Filbert.
