What is SmartWater?

SmartWater is first and foremost a deterrent. It is a colourless and harmless combination of chemicals which looks just like water and can indelibly and uniquely identify the valuables in your home, making burglary a very unattractive prospect for burglars.
Already thousands of residents have had SmartWater installed in their homes across the country. Once your property has been marked with SmartWater it can easily be identified by the Police as belonging to you and no-one else. The Police checks all property coming into its possession for traces of SmartWater.

How Does It Work?

Every bottle of SmartWater (about the size of a mascara bottle) contains a unique forensic code. The solution is simply painted onto a small section of an item of property to give it its own unique ‘DNA’ or ‘Barcode’. It has been likened to a forensic fingerprint. The code is then simply registered to the owner of the property to provide total traceability.

SmartWater can be painted onto virtually anything, from a television, DVD player, mobile phone, lawn mower, bicycle, computer equipment, jewellery etc. The list is almost endless.

SmartWater is not visible under normal lighting conditions, but reflects a green glow under ultra violet light, making it simple for police specialists to identify.

In court ,SmartWater has a 100% success rate in contested criminal cases.
