This branch of the Royal British Legion is a social group where members meet up and also get involved with fundraising and welfare activities such as the Poppy Appeal. The membership fee is £10.50. The opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to stay with their child while they play in a friendly group. There is no membership fee, however, there is a £1.00 a week fee per family. Anybody who wishes to join the group is welcome to turn up. The Royal Air Forces Association (Braunstone Branch)Meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at the Braunstone Civic Centre. The group provides comradeship to ex-RAF personnel, family and friends. Welfare aid is also provided where needed. The group enjoys social activities, shows, dinners, trips out and 'skittles'.
