Friendly Whist Drive

Meets at the Braunstone West Social Centre, St Mary's Avenue every Thursday 7.30pm - 10.00pm.

* To play whist and have a few laughs - plus listening to music from the 60s, 70s and 80s from next room *

Royal British Legion

Meets on the last Friday of each month (except December) at 7.30pm at Braunstone Civic Centre.

This branch of the Royal British Legion is a social group where members meet up and also get involved with fundraising and welfare activities such as the Poppy Appeal.

The membership fee is £10.50.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN EX-SERVICE TO JOIN. The Basic reason is for Remembrance, welfare, benevolence and fundraising.

Braunstone Parent and Toddler Group

Meets on Wednesday mornings, term time only from 9.30am to 11.30am at the Braunstone Civic Centre.

The opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to stay with their child while they play in a friendly group.

There is no membership fee, however, there is a £1.00 a week fee per family.

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME

A portrait photographer visits twice yearly, plust book sales and toy sales.

Harvest Community Church

Meets on Sundays at the Braunstone Civic Centre from 11.00am to 1.30pm and on Friday mornings hold a Friend and Neighbours Club where there is an opportunity to make friends and all kinds of activities and trips out.

Anybody who wishes to join the group is welcome to turn up.

The Royal Air Forces Association (Braunstone Branch)

Meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at the Braunstone Civic Centre.

The group provides comradeship to ex-RAF personnel, family and friends. Welfare aid is also provided where needed. The group enjoys social activities, shows, dinners, trips out and 'skittles'.

There is a membership fee of £16.50 per annum full membership and £6.50 for Associate Membership.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 2.30pm at the Braunstone Civic Centre and on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7.00pm.

The group's activities include social outings, speakers, trips, meals, bowls/games, walks, etc.

There is a membership fee of £6.00 per year (payable in October).

Meets every Sunday at 10.00am at the Braunstone West Social Centre, St Mary's Avenue

Friends of Highway Spinney (Braunstone)

The Friends of Highway Spinney are a group residents from Braunstone, Braunstone Town and Leicester Forest East who are working together along with Environ-Groundwork and the Leicester City Council to make Leicester's Largest Mature Woodland, Highway Spinney, Braunstone, a much better place for both wildlife and the local community.
