Local Discussion Forums (Old)

New discussion forums have now been created at the Leicestershire Villages website so users are no longer able to post items into the old Leicestershire Community forums. They will, however, remain as read-only so that you can view previous posts.

Directions:

Discussion forums are like sending an e-mail message. But instead of sending it to a person, you send it to the system. Once a message is there, it can be read by anyone who visits the site (it is public).

Messages are grouped into "Topics", where you can either add a message to an existing one or create a new one if you are starting something new.

Some forums are open to guests who can post new topics and replies to other peoples' postings without having to register and log in. Others are restricted: only registered users who have logged in can post new topics or replies.

A word of warning: these messages are public and unregistered guests cannot remove one (or correct the spelling) once it is there.
