Community Speed Watch

In September we completed our second Speed Watch campaign. Again this was very successful: residents have said again that it made a tremendous difference - motorists were slowing down which made it easier and safer to cross the road. The Speed Watch campaign will return in the spring.

Please remember our aim was to get drivers to drive more careful through our village to make it a safer place to live. This I think we achieved so lets hope the motorists keep it up.

One thing we did notice was the number of motorists using their mobile phones particularly near our schools. There is no excuse for using your phone while driving particularly near schools.
