Community Transport
Community Transport is available for people who find it difficult or are unable to use public transport because they are elderly or mobility impaired/disabled and for those who are rurally isolated. Community transport can be used for getting to doctors appointments, visiting friends and relatives, shopping and social activities
The site provides general information about community transport across Leicestershire with further links to providers. It is very simple to use and will help people to find information for themselves, family members or friends no matter where they live.
How to use the service:
To find out what community transport services are available in your community simply follow the following steps:
1. Go to your particular village/town website (click here to return to the Leicestershire map)
2. You should see a link on the left hand side of the screen called "Community Transport"
3. You should now see the available services for your community
