Croft Village History
The village of Croft has a varied and interesting history. There is an active Heritage Group in the village gathering that history in written, oral and picture forms. Croft Heritage Group has published a Guided Walk leaflet available in the Post Office and other businesses in the village. We are bringing out a series of articles under the heading "A History of Croft" below.

Heritage Group Projects include:
- The group are currently gathering and collating original build dates for the houses in Croft.
- A programme of recording oral history of the village is in progress. Please get in touch if you feel you can contribute. croftlv@gmail.com
- A project was recently completed to present a display on our village history in the old red telephone kiosk near the pub (the kiosk is now in the care of the Parish Council).
