The village is well served by buses, the 152,153,154 routes providing a 20-minute service to Leicester. In the opposite direction there is a 20-minute service as far as Barlestone with hourly service to Market Bosworth or Ibstock.

This improved service now provides an hourly service to Hinckley and Coalville leaving Newbold Verdon at approx 10 to the hour in each direction, cross the road for services to Hinckley.
