(Previously the Scout HQ and before that a School)

Friends of Desford Surgery is a group representing you, the patient - we meet with Alison and John regulary. If you have any worries or suggestions you can contact us and we will pass them on to the practice.

We also arrange fundraising and manage donations which we have used to buy equipment to enhance the care that we receive.

To date we have raised, through fundraising, donations in memory of patients and general donations, over £6700. We have so far purchased, to benefit our care, the following:

• Hyfrecator 2000 - £1079.83 (Easy removal of warts etc.)
• Fingerpulse oximeter - £287.88 (quickly indicates oxygen levels and pulse)
• Seca CT8000i interpretive ECG Machine - £3002.71
• Graseby MS26 Syringe Driver - £1177.47

Next we would like to purchase a Spirometer (Measures the output of the lungs), and a Fingerpulse oximeter for children.
