Once you are registered you can post items in to the local postings section such as news and events. » Latest NewsPosted: Mon, 08 Mar 2010 10:23am Beginners Running Group Wreake Runners are working with Charnwood’s Active Together team, to launch a Run in England beginners running course, a fantastic new opportunity for those looking to improve their fitness, and get into running. Aimed at those new to running the course will be lead by qualified Leadership in Running Fitness group leaders and is designed to give anyone 16+ the opportunity to start running in a safe environment, at a pace suitable for all, whilst offering plenty of encouragement, helping you improve your fitness and have fun. The sessions will start gently with a mixture of both walking and running with the aim of slowly increasing the distance covered and time spent running. More » The course will launch on Thursday 11th March from South Charnwood Leisure Centre in Syston at 6.30pm to complete the registration forms, we aim to be out running by 7pm. Runners will be required to join Run in England at the cost of £10 (reduced from £20 for this course only) in return for which you will receive insurance, a training logbook, water bottle and t-shirt, each session then costs just £2.
