East Norton can be proud of Kate Mosely who, after training with the Mount Group Riding for the Disabled based at Owston Lodge Equestrian Centre, won the blue riband Prize as overall Countryside Challenge Champion at the R D A National Championship event held in July 2007 at Hartpury in Gloucestershire. Kate, riding “Penny Tiptoes”, won section B of the Countryside Challenge for riders with a leader or helper, and went on to achieve fifth in the dressage, and won the combined training category.
