The East Norton Neighbouhood Watch Group promotes good social interaction by organising events, and keeps villagers informed of any crime alerts issued by the Leicestershire Constabulary.
Funds raised at the events are used to provide enhancements for the village. Past examples are bulb planting, tree planting, and the village sign.
Non fund raising events are also organised such as parish litter picks.
In 2006 East Norton Neighbourhood Watch organised the "East Norton in Bloom" event which raised £1387.98 of which £1187.98 was donated to the church restoration fund.
