East Norton Church in Bloom 2007

Once again the East Norton Church in Bloom event was blessed with good weather and this together with the hard work of so many in the village made this a very successful day. We raised £1,462 for the benefit of the Church. The Church itself looked particularly beautiful with some interesting items of art and sculpture to set off the flowers.
The money raised will be contributed to Church funds and to the Neighbourhood Watch to support the purchase of the village marquee and other improvements and events.
The Neighbourhood Watch committe would like to thank everyone for their hard work and hopes that whether you were working, contributing or attending you enjoyed the day.

Villagers around the village sign, also provided from grant aided Neighbourhood Watch funds, celebrating the award of a Shires Grant towards the cost of the bulbs and trees. Both grants were awarded by the Leicestershire County Council.
