Approaching from the East. The road in this picture was made into a service road for the cottages when the A47 was straightened. The whole is now by-passed.

Taken at a time when the three storey house was the Post Office, and the White Bull pub, just off to the right of the picture, was in business.

Approaching from the West, the handrails to the church steps are just visible. Note how the road has since been widened and straightened, with a footway added, before being by-passed completely.
