» EnderbyPhotographs from Travelling By Tuba at Enderby library![]() Chris got the tuba started after removing the newspaper!! ![]() Stuart told us all about the sound that the conch shell makes (It's very loud!) ![]() We were invaded by Vikings!! ![]() We found out that the didjeridoo gets the hole through the middle by being left in the ground for a year and the soft inside is eaten by termites. ![]() We had a go on the home made didjeridoo! ![]() Chris, Stuart and a special guest played for the group!! ![]() We made our own tuba from hose pipe and a funnel! Can you believe that the hose is the same length as the pipe in a tuba?! ![]() The tuba is big enough to fit your head into! ![]() You have to make a pppppplllll sound with your mouth! ![]() We had to have our hands in the air to join in! ![]() We got to see (and hear) the cornet that people played for kings and queens ![]() We also got to hear the "Serpent" and found out why it didn't last long in the orchestra (It doesn't keep tune and it's too quiet) ![]() We heard the dung from Tibet and found out how heavy it is! (It took two of us to hold it up!) ![]() I need those..."Bear Necessities", those simple "Bear Necessities"! ![]() The class of Enderby 2005! Last Updated Fri, 26 Aug, 2005. |
