Ollie 2 - 2 Luke
(Luke wins 3-1 on penalties)

This final produced the best football of the competition. The match started off at a terrific pace with a great free kick from Ollie that hit the post and cleared from the line on 3 mins. This was followed on 20 mins by a great shot from Luke from outside the area which was pushed around the post. From the corner Luke was able to head in the first goal on 22 mins. This started a great period of play by Ollie who forced a good save on 37 mins. Luke responded with a one on one with the keeper in the last minute of the first half but when it was saved it was cleared up the field and Ollie beat the offside trap to go one on one and score his equaliser with the last kick of the first half.
The second half started well with Ollie forcing a good save and the corner that followed was headed in on 50 mins to give him the lead. Luke responded really well and soon had a great chance to score on 79 mins which was saved for a corner. The corner was brilliant and Luke headed the equaliser on 82 mins. The match went into extra time which was really well defended by both teams but it was Luke that eventually won the penalty shoot out 3-1 to win the first ever Playstation 2 football competition at Fleckney library. Well done! Fantastic match!
