A scarecrow festival: Villagers will create their own scarecrows and place them outside their houses or businesses. They will be judged throughout the day. The evening will see songs of praise on the village green. The winners of the scarecrow competition will be announced at this time. |

Folk music in the Golden Shield |

One mile foot races on the Leicester Road Recreation Ground, all age groups. A jazz band is also planned for this night |

Murder Mystery Night in the Village Hall: Duck Pond Players |
Saturday 28th June |
Carnival Day on the Leicester Road Recreation Ground includes: fun fair, numerous stalls, vehicle rally, pony rides, carnival queen, balloon race; Fleckney History Group restored bakery van, open air music and battle of the bands. An Ice cream van and a hot dog stall will be present; other refreshments available from the youth club. |
