Fleckney Skate Day

This day was held to help drive forward our plans of building a skatepark. The Committee decided to hire in a set of ramps for the day and place them in the Scout Hut car park to see just how many people indeed wanted a skatepark in Fleckney. The turn out was absolutely incredible and featured boys and girls of all ages. We also had visits from the local papers to take some pictures as well as our cameraman Roy Shipman taking some pictures for us. On the day we had some questionnaires going around asking peoples general concerns and hopes for the skatepark; listed on our downloads page are the results.
Overall the turn out was amazing and the day couldn't have gone any smoother, it met our objective which was to prove there is a demand for a skatepark in Fleckney.This was definately shown as we had up to 55 people using the equipment at once.
