![]() Help the Heroes We are putting together a Family Fun Day to be held on Sunday 19th July, 11.00am - 5pm to help raise money in aid of Help the Heroes. We have been given lovely spacious grounds to work within, in Glenfield at the rear of Glenfield Primary School. There will be wide variety of events taking place ranging from football skills coaching for children, character fancy dress competition, toddler’s teddy bear picnic and an area dedicated to toddlers. The RAF has kindly volunteered a light aircraft and cockpit to climb aboard and there will be a family It’s a knockout competition-taking place too. I am keen to speak with people who are interested in holding stands to promote their business; this would be in return for a pledge to Help the Heroes. I am also searching for a face painter, dance groups and any other brilliant suggestions to entertain that you may have. I know this seems a lot to ask but this really is a good cause. Should anyone have any questions please feel free to get in touch with me. We will also be holding a raffle, of which organisations have already kindly donated prizes, and we would welcome anyone else who wishes to contribute. We do hope that you and your family and friends will be able to join in the fun day during July and look forward to seeing you there. Many thanks in advance Janine Gibson email:janine.gibson@hotmail.co.uk
