The Horticulture Show

In May 2002, the Chapel in the Valley, Griffydam, introduced the bean planting day. Now, this activity is about to blossom into a fully developed Horticultural Show. Starting with a visit from the BBC's Down to Earth team and concluding with the grand prize giving, this promises to be a major event in the life of the village.

A committee, comprising of everyone who is interested in making this event in Griffydam successful, is being set up.
The first meeting is at the Chapel in the Valley on 8 January 2004 at 7.30pm.

Radio Leicester's Down to Earth team visit the Chapel in the Valley to record their programme. Starting at 7.30pm, but you will need to be in your seats by 7.00pm
