Hallaton entertained the Harborough Taverners at the Rec on Sunday June 15. The visitors won the toss and invited Hallaton to bat first on a much firmer pitch. Hallaton put in their strongest batting performance of the season to date and although the innings ended prematurely in the 30th over, the home side had managed to post a score of 158 (Andy Louden 46 and Cillian Brugha 25). Hallaton continued to dominate with a strong performance in the field with all bowlers contributing tidy spells with the ball, and eventually dismissed the opposition in the 34th over of the game to chalk up their first victory of the season by 67 runs (Graham Clarkson 4 for 22, Jack Measom 3 for 11, Jake Clarkson 2 for 13 and Cillian Brugha 1 for 15 all off 7 overs and Charlie Jones 1 for 9 off 5.2 overs).
