Hallaton Cricket Team

Hallaton has a thriving cricket team, with home matches played at the village Recreation Ground. At this time of year, we are busy out playing cricket - enjoying the sunshine, rather than making our web page look pretty.

Having said that we always find time to capture the exciting moments of the game in our weekly match reports.

Of course, it's always more fun if lots of you are at the ground cheering us on. Everyone is welcome - bar always open from 3pm on Sunday afternoons!

As always thanks are extended to all those who make match days a possibility; Debbie and Simon Walker for their sterling efforts behind the bar, umpires Chris ‘Trigger’ Kilby, John Sharpe & Hugh Mayor for their careful stewardship, resident scorer Jan Thompson and deputy scorer Chris Clarke and certainly not forgetting Christine Herbert, Lydia Fountain, Julie Clark and Andrea Sharpe for their help with the Friday night BBQ’s and Georgina Chell, the Brucciani family and Tracey Measom for keeping players and spectators plied with sandwiches and cakes between innings on Sunday afternoons!
