United Reformed Church

In 1922 the Langham family built and endowed "The Langham Memorial Chapel" to replace the old one. The land behind the Chapel has been sold and a small development of three houses have been built, allowing a kitchen and toilet facilities to be built at the rear of the chapel, with the proceeds. During the building work the outside toilets was demolished to make way for the extension. As you can see from the photograph, this was a wooden boxed toilet with no running water. Now the Chapel boasts excellent facilities a great asset, as most village events are held there.
