Sainsburys helps customers save energy

On Saturday 15th November Sainsburys in Wigston, in association with the Energy Saving Trust, will be giving customers useful tips on how to save energy in the kitchen.
Householders can save upto £340 a year by making their homes more energy efficient, and the kitchen is a great place to start. By making small changes in the kitchen, like not putting hot food in the fridge and putting a lid on saucepans, households across the UK can save on their energy bills.
Customers who shop at Sainsbury's store Wigston on Saturday 15th November will be able to pick up a leaflet detailing a number of ways that they can reduce their energy use in the kitchen.

Leaving Leicestershire Villages

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has taken part in Leicestershire Villages since I have been the administrator on the website. I started back in August 2007 and I have really enjoyed my experience. I will be starting my new job in the Human Resources department at County Hall very soon. I would also like to say a big Thank you to Chris Poole and Tina Britt my work colleagues for their support throughout the year.
