Bus services 13/13A, Leicester to/from Kirby Muxloe

It has been announced that Leicestershire County Council are to take over the responsibility for the provision of a bus service from Leicester to Kirby Muxloe, with effect from 1 September 2008.

The service will be operated by Robinson's Coach Travel.

There will be slight changes to the route, which will be as follows:

Route 13A:
St. Peters Lane (A2), Causeway Lane, Vaughan Way, St Nicholas Circle, King Richards Road, A47 (Hinckley Road), Cort Crescent, Hockley Farm Road, Worrall Road, Winforde Crescent, Gallards Hill, Cantrell Road, Meadwell Road, Braunstone Lane, Dunstall Avenue, Valley Drive, Woodland Drive, Valley Drive, St. Mary's Avenue, Wardens Walk, Holmfield Avenue West, A47 (Hinckley Road), Kings Drive, Rushmere Walk, Stafford Leys, A47 (Hinckley Road), Maytree Drive, Barry Drive, Forest Rise, Station Road, Main Street Kirby Muxloe.
The return journey will follow the same route, but in reverse, to St. Nicholas Circle, then via Vaughan Way, Abbey Street, Belgrave Gate, Haymarket (B4), Churchgate, to St. Peter's Lane.

Timetable:

Route 13A will leave Kirby Muxloe at 09.45, 10.45, 11.45, 12.45, and 13.45,arriving at the City Centre 25 minutes later.

Route 13A will leave the St. Peter's Lane at 10.15, 11.15, 12.15, 13.15, and 14.15, arriving in Kirby Muxloe 29 minutes later.

The above services will operate from Monday to Saturday inclusive. There will be no services on Sundays or Bank/Public holidays.
