![]() Community and voluntary transport schemes supplement the public transport network by offering services tailored to the needs of people who may have difficulty in using - or are unable to use - ordinary buses and trains to undertake journeys others normally take for granted. Most services operate on an as and when required basis and have to be booked in advance. They are there to help the community and are not operated for profit, though there will be a charge for using the service.

![]() We are Christians of all ages, young and not so young! We are a church consisting of people from various backgrounds and an increasing number of different nations. We are made up of single and married; some divorced and some one-parent families. Our meetings are both exciting and practical with ‘heavenly’ music, and ‘down-to-earth’ teaching combined with the Holy Spirit’s power in action. We believe that God is restoring his Church to be like the Trinity itself – Father, Son and Holy Spirit; what John Wesley called a “sweet society”. Therefore, we view ourselves as a “community of peoples” (Genesis 28:3) who are part of the world-wide Body of Jesus Christ; Christians who are ‘super-glued’ together by the New Covenant that Jesus established with all believers, and demonstrating the “covenant love” of God to one another. We accept as true that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God to all people of all times; that it is a completely reliable revelation of God, and the supreme source of truth. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and doctrine, and therefore, it is our ‘handbook’ for all aspects of life. We work closely with a team of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers; ministry gifts that Christ has given to his Church. This ministry team operates under the umbrella name of Ministries Without Borders, because with God there are no physical and spiritual borders we cannot cross to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our world. Together we are committed to seeing the gospel of the kingdom preached to all people groups and to see the Church, throughout the world, come to full maturity. (see Ephesians 4:7-16) At Covenant Life Church, we believe that we have a great and powerful message. That message is the Good News about Jesus Christ God’s Son, who has the authority and power to transform lives and heal the sick! We believe that God has a plan for your life! The Bible says: "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) We believe there is no better future than a future with Jesus! Covenant Life Church is one church in two communities (1C2C) meeting at two venues each Sunday morning. New College, Glenfield Road, Leicester at 10.30am. Christian Life Centre, Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray at 10.15am Covenant Life Church is led by Bryan & Hazel Shutt, Nigel & Helen Layton, Kevin & Margaret Owen, and Ian & Hayley Thompson, who all have a great desire to see Jesus glorified in Leicestershire and beyond.
