Market Bosworth Basketball Club – The Blazers

Market Bosworth Basketball Club was formed three years ago by three local players who had played together since they were young lads. They wanted to create a local team to play in the Leicestershire Basketball Association League with their home court in their own home-town high school gym and with support from local businesses.

The club and the team have been incredibly successful having been promoted twice in their first two seasons. This year Blazers A team play in Division 2 of the Leicestershire League and are currently top of the table. There was so much local interest in joining and playing for the club that this year Blazers have also entered a team in Warwickshire League division 2 and are currently enjoying success here too.

The home games for both teams are played at the Market Bosworth High School and Community College. Home games are on Friday evenings but you can get much more information by visiting the club website on www. Bosworthblazers.co.uk
