Normally, it is a legal requirement that one of a couple wishing to be married in a church is a resident of that parish.

However anyone who is on the Church’s Electoral Roll has a right to be married at that church.

To be included on a church’s Electoral Roll at least one of you have to have been baptised (christened) and worshipping regularly at the church for a minimum of six months.
