At the door you will be met by a friendly steward who will give you a hymn book and show you the way into Church. Children attending Junior Church will firstly come into Church, before leaving into the Schoolrooms for their own classes. You may sit anywhere in the Church since no one has a reserved seat although some worshippers do like to sit in the same seat week by week. All of the items which take place in the service will be explained as the service goes along. There is not a laid down format and no service book to follow. You will not be expected to speak or carry out actions on your own. We usually sing hymns or choruses accompanied by the piano, organ or our own music group. During the service there will be a collection taken for a free will offering to help with the work of the Church here and abroad.
Should you require toilet facilities these are in the front entrance to the Church. Facilities for disabled visitors comprise of wheelchair access and when our new hall is built invalid toilets too.
Perhaps you are not ready to come along to Church just yet, but you are wondering what the Free Church is about. Have a look at our Constitution and Statement of Faith page for this information.
There is no obligation for you to become a member should you just wish to come along to share in our activities as you please.
Further information can be obtained from our Elders:--
