A talk on Travel Writing by Kerry Featherstone
2pm
Kerry Featherstone. Literature Development Officer for Leicestershire Libraries entertained a group of library users with his talk on great British travel writing,- novelists, as well as " a few little known curiosities".(?!)
Stretching from Robinson Crusoe via Graham Greene and via the M25, we discovered how writers have seen the world, and shown it to their readers.
The afternoon was enjoyable and enlightening and hopefully didn't spoil to many people's love of travel writing.
