Brooksby Hall is a 16th century hunting lodge set in the medieval village of Brooksby. Though the village has long since gone, the turbulent history has left its ghostly footprints. Reportedly haunted by the late Sir George Villiers, many of the staff have reported strange phenomenon and ghostly voices and there is a distinct chill in the air as you walk round the grounds and Hall in the evenings.
Our expert guides will take you through the whole Hall, learn about the ghostly carriages that appear once a year, the tale of the mother and child buried behind the walls and the torrid history of those who have lived at Brooksby Hall. The tour also includes a visit to Brooksby Church, where many of the past residents have been buried.
