A mid-week Communion Service at Mountsorrel Methodist Church has been arranged to be held at the church - commencing at 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and share this feast around The Lord's table.

* How do you want to influence local decision making and funding?
* What do you think to the new community grants programme in Charnwood?
* How would you change it?

This event aims to look at how the VCS work together and influence others. The main aim of the event is to discuss what the largest issues affecting the sector are and exploring the potential that a District wide forum can have in addressing these.
There will also be a consultation by Charnwood Borough Council on the Community Grants Programme, which will provide an opportunity to affect and influence its future development.

RSPB Local Members Group Meeting

The Loughborough RSPB Members Group invite you to a talk on the HOPE FARM PROJECT

Chris Bailey has been the manager of Hope farm for the past 3 years. The RSPB bought this arable farm in 1999 with the aim of showing farmers and policy makers that farming can be both profitable and help wildlife - hoping to reverse the decline in farmland birds especially the skylark. More »

Men's Fellowship Anniversary.

Mountsorrel Methodist Church Men's Fellowship celebrates its Anniversary this weekend. Tonight a supper and concert has been arranged to which everyone is welcome. The hot supper will be served at 6pm and the concert, by "ENCHANTED & FRIENDS", will commence at 7.30pm.

Mountsorrel Methodist Church Men's Fellowship will continue its celebrations today at its worship services which will commence at 10.30am and 6pm.The preacher in the morning will be Mr. Mark Wormald of Shepshed and in the evening the preacher will be our minister, Rev. E. Adam Wells. Everyone is welcome to share in these celebration services.
