Mowsley Summer Festival 2008

The Mowsley Summer Festival was a great success and more than £2200 was raised for charity. Lots of people turned up to enjoy the many beautiful open gardens, church flower displays and the exhibition of paintings by local artists. Plant, second-hand books and bric-a-brac sales did brisk business, as did those providing light refreshments in the village hall.

On the Saturday the event was visited by Cllr Brian Smith, Chairman of Harborough District Council, and his wife Frances.
