Copyright: LSH. Photographer's note: I was intrigued both by the hat and the expressive face beneath it. We chatted for a few minutes, before I took the photo. I learned that the leather hat had been bought in Australia. Its brim was decorated with badges bought at charity flag days. 'Spen' invited me to a post-fete karaoke in 'The Nut and Squirrel' which unfortunately I had to decline.
