Mildewed wheat - 14 August 2008

2007 was the summer of torrential rain and the Severn floods. However in Newton Burgoland it seems to have been even wetter and windier this summer. Both flowers and food crops are suffering with mildew and blight. This wheat still hasn't been harvested. It looks mildewed and fusty. Photo copyright: Louise Smedley-Hampson.
