Newtown Linford is a thriving community and is fortunate to have nearly thirty different clubs and societies within the village.
All organizations welcome new members and the following is a list of Groups with the links to their own sites or pages on this site
- the Badminton Club is pleased to announce it has restarted
- the Bradgate Drama Society is an amateur dramatic society based in Newtown Linford. We aim to put on two productions a year in the village hall, one just before Christmas and one at Easter. In addition we have a vibrant social programme.
- Membership is open to all interested in amateur dramatics, whether as an actor, director, backstage or audience
- the Bradgate Flower Club meets in the Village Hall on the first Wednesday in the month. It has a regular attendance of nearly 100 people.
- the Bradgate Twinning Association consists of members from this and surrounding villages - their site is not available as a link at present
- The Choral Society is a thriving group of enthusiasts
- The Cricket Club and the Tennis Club are both very active groups of people of all ages. Both clubs share the same grounds by the Church.
- the Gardening Club has 45 paid up members for 2008- the sub committee also organizes the very popular Scarecrow weekend each year
- The Newtown Linford Ladies Luncheon Club meet on the third Wednesday of the month.
- the Newtown Linford Ladies informal Luncheon club meets on the first Wednesday of each month.
- the Village Ramblers meet every month
- The Welcome Club and Fellowship has been very popular for many years with the not so young of the village
- the W.I. flourished between 1925 and 2006
