Proposed Wind Turbine near North Kilworth

This is an urgent plea for help.

A 126 metre high wind turbine is proposed on land at Sparrow Lodge, Pincet Lane, between Husbands Bosworth, North Kilworth and Walton.

Harborough DC are deciding this application at 6.30pm on Tuesday 1st December.

I cannot over emphasise the physical size of this development, and the significant, adverse, impact that it will have on the local area. It will be one of the tallest structures in the East Midlands

My request is twofold:
1. If you have not written to HDC to object about this, please do so now. If you need help writing a suitable letter, please email me at nicola428@btinternet.com;
2. Please come to the Council Chamber on Tuesday evening to demonstrate your opposition to this development. More »

This turbine is set to ruin three dwellings which are all within 560 metres, the closest being 460 metres. There are more houses at between 500m and 1000m that will also be affected. Our council staff seem happy to allow this to happen. We will know next Tuesday how the Councillors feel.

The Council have already acknowledged that the visual dominance of the turbine on our home will be overbearing and that it will have an adverse effect upon our residential amenity. This is neither fair nor just.

Please feel free to contact me on 01858 880083 / 07717 698550 if you have any questions.
