Our Objective

To nurture a cohesive community life which reflects the multi-cultural and multi-faith dimensions of modern Oadby and which enables the wider community to flourish

Our Aims

to understand each other’s roles, needs and aspirations.

to identify current groups usage in Oadby.

to identify facility usage and future needs for the community.

to foster a sense of common purpose whereby the whole community could benefit from a partnership approach.

to work together in partnership for the greater good of the Oadby community.

to develop a community which reflects the multi-cultural and multi-faith dimension of modern Oadby and enable the whole community to flourish

Who are we?

A group made up of representatives of community groups based in Oadby.

We meet once or twice a term at Beauchamp College - meetings are usually 10.30-12.30 on a Friday.

We are keen to welcome new members who share our aims - contact Bob or Chris at the email addresses below if you're interested in coming along.

All meetings are open to any interested parties/organisations, County Council and Borough Council members and officers.

There is also a Stakeholders Executive, made up of a small group elected from among the membership. The Executive plays a similar role to a board of trustees and oversees the work of the group.

The Oadbyweb Website

This was created to bring together details of the events, clubs, support groups and activities available in Oadby. It has some overlaps with the Leicestershire Villages project and Oadby Community Stakeholders encourages groups to create their own sites using Leicestershire Villages.
