Guided historical walk around Pilton and The Luffenhams in Rutland

Circular Walk starting at North Luffenham Church. Will explore many aspects of the local history of the area of rural Rutland. In particular it will include village architecture, three churches and chrchyards, the site of a demolished Hall, a deserted medievl vilage, the sites of ironstone and clay quarries, deserted railway lines, a windmill and a water mill -and much more.
Along quiet roads and paths with some stiles some may be muddy.
Children and well behaved dogs welcome.
Stout shoes or walking boots recommended

We would like to invite you to have an open discussion about the impacts, needs and relevance of affordable housing for the Bosworth area.

A workshop will be held on 18th September 2008 at 6.30pm (refreshments and buffet served at 6pm) - 9 pm, hosted by the Chair of the Bosworth Forum, Cllr. Kevin Morrell.
