DOCTORS IN ROTHLEY

There is no surgery in Rothley but the village is covered by Practices in nearby villages.
Just over the boundary with Mountsorrel we are served by Alpine House Surgery which is purpose built and designed to cater for all patients.
All consulting rooms are on the ground floor and designed with disabled people in mind.

It is a partnership of three male Doctors and one female Doctor. There are two Practice Nurses and a Healthcare Assistant. A new addition to the medical staff is a Nurse Practitioner who is available for consultation on many ailments, the reception staff will advise.

Dr. D.K.Hall joined the Practice in September 2005, taking over from Dr. Furber who moved to Devon earlier in the year.

This surgery operates a system where you can book appointments on the INTERNET from your home. All you need to do is ask at the surgery reception for your registration information and a form is printed off with the details needed to register. Log on to the designated website, input all the information from the registration form as a new user, enter a password of your choice and a feature of your choice and that completes your registration. When you want to book an appointment just log on and make your choice of doctor and time. The website can also be used to cancel or change an appointment, order repeat prescriptions or change an address.

NEW TELEPHONE NUMBER IN 2008

From 16th February 2008 the telephone number of the surgery will change to 0844 8151860. This is a Lo-call number and the cost from a land line should be no different from the cost of the old number. Charges for calls from other phones may vary.
