ROTHLEY POLICE AND NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

PCSO 6678 Alex Foster started his duties in Rothley and Swithland in April 2008 and 'retired' from the Police Force in January 2010. Alex is still very much involved in looking after the Rothley residents in his new role of Flood Warden Area Co-ordinator which includes our village. Thank you Alex for your time in Rothley and all your help and support to NHW.

On Rothley Heritage Open Day 2009 the Police Beat Vehicle was manned in the Victorian style as part of the events. Steve and Alex created a tremendous amount of interest in their Victorian uniforms and their 'beat' included the Rothley churchyard.

CSO 6646 Susan Hall. Susan has been with us in Rothley since March 2006. Sadly, Susan left Rothley and the Police at the end of February 2008. She has been a tremendously hard-working CSO and she will be greatly missed. Her work with our Neighbourhood Watch Scheme has been untiring and thanks to her support the scheme has increased to cover most areas in the village. On January 31st 2008 Susan was presented with the Chief Superintendent's Commendation for outstanding work with the community and family issues, for her work with the media and the community following the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
