» RothleyROTHLEY GRANGE![]() Rothley Grange is a 19th century house in Cross Lane built of red brick with a Swithland slate roof and brick end stacks. Its main facade faces the rear. It has two storeys of 3 sash windows: 8/8: 6/6: 8/8. On the ground floor an 8/8 on either side of a doorcase with fluted pilasters, hood on brackets, 4-panelled door and overlight of which the glazing bars form a brickwork pattern. It has gauged brick lintels and moulded brick eaves. The facade facing Cross Lane has a two storey wing projecting forwards with a sashed bay, casements, 3-light horizontal sliding sash and door. ![]() This Listed Building is not to be confused with The Grange in Fowke Street, Rothley which is not Listed but in a Conservation Area.
