CRIME REPORT APRIL 2008

After all the damage suffered in March 2008 it is good to see a dramatic reduction in vandalism. PBO Steve Rhodes has visited the known vandals with their parents also present and 15 young people have been issued with a warning letter. One has been dealt with for committing three offences of damage.

BURGLARY

1st April-Grangefields Drive-House broken into.
8th April-Swithland Lane-House entered, laptop stolen and car stolen from driveway.

BURGLARY OTHER

20th March-9th April-Swithland Lane-Shed broken into, lawnmower and child's motorcycle stolen.

DAMAGE

6th March-12th April-Mountsorrel Lane-Fence panel and gate damaged.
26th/27th April-Woodfield Road-Fence post damaged.
26th April -Cross Green-Car bodywork scratched.

THEFT

11th/12th April-Main St. Swithland-Car broken into. Nothing stolen.
12th/13th April-A6 By-pass-Plants removed but not taken.
20th April- Loughborough Road-Charity box stolen from nursery.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

28th April-Station Road-Van broken into.
